Madrid, Spain
6.11.23-10.11.23
At the exhibition hall, dozens of people are gathering. The Ambassador of Ukraine, Luxembourg, and other representatives from across Europe are present. Journalists arriving are interested in the situation in Israel - I say: today we mark a month since the Hamas massacre of civilians, including children, women, Holocaust survivors, and the elderly. The attack was brutal and horrifying, and since then, there has been war.
Women pay a very high price in wartime. They are murdered, raped, kidnapped, and that is the reason for holding this event, despite everything, to declare from this stage: enough violence! Enough violence against women! Hearts are saddened and pained for the victims on both sides of the war.
Ears are attentive, eyes are teary. We continue our journey to raise awareness, to remember the names of the victims, to contribute our modest contribution to a safe and respectful world, a world where children can grow up without fear.
The event is organized by the Israeli Embassy. Thanks to the ambassador, Mrs. Rodika Radian-Gordon. Thanks to Saphir, the culture attaché, and Manuela for their dedication and insistence on presenting the situation despite everything.
